Pages Per Sheet (PDF N-up)
Define a new PDF layout — combine multiple pages onto a single sheet (2, 4, 6, 9, or 16-up), or just change the sheet size (e.g. A3 to A4). Original pages are embedded as vector content, not flattened to images, so text stays sharp. Everything runs in your browser.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The new layout is built entirely in your browser — the file is never sent to a server.
Does this rasterize my pages into images?
No. Each original page is embedded as vector content (the same technique PDF viewers use for embedded objects), so text stays selectable and sharp at any zoom level — unlike tools that flatten pages into images.
What's the difference between "Row by row" and "Column by column"?
Row by row fills each sheet left-to-right, then moves to the next row (the normal reading order for a 2×2 grid: 1, 2 on top, 3, 4 below). Column by column fills top-to-bottom down the first column before moving to the next column (1, 2 in the first column, 3, 4 in the second).
What do the outer and inner margins control?
The outer margin is the blank space between the page's content and its outer edge (set separately for top, left, right, bottom). The inner margin is the gap between the pages placed on the same sheet.
Can I use this to just resize a PDF from A3 to A4?
Yes — set "pages per sheet" to 1 and choose your target size. Each original page is scaled to fit the new sheet size while keeping its aspect ratio.
