Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The merge runs entirely in your browser using a JavaScript PDF library — your files are never sent to a server. Most other free PDF mergers upload your document first; this one doesn't.
Is there a file size or page limit?
This tool doesn't impose an artificial limit. Since everything runs locally, the practical limit is your device's available memory — typical multi-page documents merge without any issue.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
If a PDF is encrypted with a password, this tool can't read its contents and will flag that file with an error. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then try merging again.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?
No. Pages are copied as-is — text stays selectable, images stay full resolution, and formatting is preserved. Nothing is rasterized or re-rendered.
Can I reorder pages after uploading?
Yes — use the up/down arrows next to each file in the list to change the order before merging. The final document follows whatever order you set.
