Resize your photo (and signature, if your step of the NEET application needs one) for the NEET (UG) application — defaults to a 180×252px photo, and every field is editable since NTA's exact requirement has been reported differently across sources and years.

Frequently asked questions

What is the passport photo size for NEET in pixels?

Sources describe this differently: some cite a smaller passport-style photo (around 2.5×3.5 inches, used as this tool's default at 180×252px), others a much larger postcard-size (4×6 inch) photo that gets pasted onto a printed page rather than uploaded digitally. Check your current NTA information bulletin to see which one applies to the step you're on.

Is the postcard-size photo the same as the digital upload photo?

No — NEET has historically asked for a smaller photo uploaded digitally during registration, separate from postcard-size printed photographs candidates paste onto a physical page later. This tool is built for the digital upload step; the postcard-size photo is a print you handle separately.

Is my photo or signature uploaded to a server?

No. All resizing, cropping, and compression happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API — nothing is uploaded, transmitted, or stored anywhere.

Does this guarantee my NEET application will be accepted?

No — and NTA has publicly warned that morphed, edited, or computer-generated photos are strictly rejected with no correction window afterward for NEET specifically. This tool only handles the technical crop/resize/compress step; it can't verify composition, and given how much the reported pixel size varies by source, you should double- and triple-check the current information bulletin before submitting.

What background color does NEET require?

Plain white, consistently across the sources checked for this tool — unlike some of the pixel-dimension figures, this part is not in dispute.
